A Minute with a Fruit Seller. WORTHY.

The month of Ramazan is full of blessings and in this month every Muslim donates as much as he can so as to bring happiness to other poor families. Me and my friends did the same. We collected 10,000 PKR from our surroundings and distributed flour, oil, pulses, rise and some other home necessities.

We were mostly giving away things to the old people who couldn't work and earn. On the way, we saw a boy of around 19 to 20 years old. His physical appearance was very bad, He was selling apples on a cart and his cart wasn't that much concentrated with apples so we instantly thought he will be the needy one and we approached him, greeted him and raised a shopper containing a kilo pack of oil, rise, pulses and two other things. He greeted back, watched the shopper, looked inside and gave it back to us by smiling,

"Saeen, humein iski zaroorat nahi, hum tou apna choota moota karoobar karte hain, guzara hojata hai, ye tou aap un mazoor logon ko dein jo khud kama kr kha nahi sakte ya phir borhe loogon ko."

Translation: "Brother, I don't need this, I have a small business of apples, my time passes somehow. You should give this precious shopper to people who are old in age or to those who are disabled."

And I was SHOCKED, MOUTH OPENED, waiting to listen that sentence again but unfortunately I couldn't. He smiled and passed away leaving for me bundles and bundles of learning. Teaching me honesty, how to be thankful to anything you have, how to accept things and move on, and many other things that I couldn't define.

Though these types of personalties are very rare to find, but after all, goodness is everywhere and we should have a firm believe on this because it can happen to anyone, any-time, any-place.

Coming to Pakistani's, this guy is the best example for you. We (Including me) all are crying over things that we don't have but we don't thank Allah for the things we have.

ON THIS YEAR'S INDEPENDENCE DAY, PLEASE LEARN TO BE THANKFUL TO GOD FOR WHATEVER YOU HAVE.

Here is a video a group of Pakistani students made on this year's Independence day. I loved it and I am sure you will love it too :)
